So this blog is long over due blog but better late than never. So at the beginning of this project I wasn't really thinking too much about it. now I only wish we would've started sooner. When I realized exactly that my partner's ideas were big and she actually wanted to do a lot of stuff, then I was getting more into it and actually a little bit excited. Then I started thinking about how we would collect the stuff and if it would only be my partner and I doing all the 'hard labor'. Then I thought back to summer vacation and the people I met at city hall from when I was volunteering there, and that's where I learned about Project SAY and met some of the program specialists and learned exactly what it is they do. I figured that they could be of great help to us if we wanted to expand our food drive/collections goal to other schools of the Anaheim district. I took the opportunity to reach out to them and it went a lot better than expected :)
